Traedonya, the self-proclaimed ‘Bride Of New Funk Hipopera’ covers Al Green’s “Simply Beautiful” and re-titles it “Simply Beautiful UR” with Irish Soulflower. Her version is just as sparse but she adds poetry and her own set of phrasing. She’s due to release her High Fructose Corn Syrup EP before the end of summer.
