Stone Mecca-Dream Maker (Official Video)

Stone Mecca is an R&B band from Los Angeles and they describe their mining of various genres like hip-hop and funk as Future Soul. “Dream Maker” is their current single from their First Contact album.


Jeff Bradshaw-All Time Love Feat. Robert Glasper, Eric Roberson & Tweet


“All Time Love” is the first single from trombonist Jeff Bradshaw’s upcoming Home album. The song features vocals from Eric Roberson and a pleasant re-introduction to Tweet. Robert Glasper plays keyboards on the song and is an executive producer of the album. Bradshaw is a longtime member of Philadelphia’s soul scene having worked with Jill Scott and The Roots. For the past 14 years he has worked tirelessly to make the trombone cool as a lead instrument. Home is his third solo project and will be released on March 31st.

Eminem’s official video for “Detroit Vs Everybody” is a span of the not yet-gentrified parts of the city including Cass Corridor and Highland Park. Dej Loaf, Royce Da 5’9″, Big Sean, Danny Brown and Trick Trick all appear and spit their verses as a unified team for the Motor City.

Ice-T and his Body Count band deliver a frantic video for “Institutionalized” from their Manslaughter album. His wife Coco also joins in on the funny song about losing your mind from everyday madness.

BADBADNOTGOOD and Ghostface Killah release the official video for “Ray Gun” featuring MF Doom. Rob Schroeder directed the piece that has Vyron “Left Brain” Turner from Odd Future playing The Mask. He can’t handle the ways of the earth’s people and wants to go back home in a spaceship landed by an afroed Sarah Parker also of Odd Future. Sour Soul comes out February 17th.
