Dev Hynes Provides Piano Score For NYC And Ferguson Documentary

Dev Hynes improvised a piano score at the Brooklyn Academy of Music for a documentary about the protests taking place in Ferguson and NYC in response to the killings of Mike Brown and Eric Garner by officers Darren Wilson and Daniel Pantaleo who were not indicted. The Brown and Garner incidents are just two of an escalating epidemic of Black men being murdered for senseless reasons and their killers not being held accountable by the system.

Spank Rock-The Upside EP

SpankRock

Spank Rock’s Upside EP is a mix of hip-hop, bounce and dance but he refuses to categorize it. You can stream it ahead of the December 9th release date over at Dazed. On December 6th he will kick off a quick tour of the east starting in Philadelphia and ending on The Holy Ship.
