Black Milk Announces No Poison No Paradise Tour 2013

Producer and rapper Black Milk has announced his upcoming 22-city No Poison No Paradise Tour, set to begin September 20th in Dallas, Texas. Joining the tour is live band Nat Turner (Aaron “Ab” Abernathy on keys and vocals, Malik Hunter on bass, and Z Horton on drums, with Bill Sharp as DJ), as well as guests Quelle and DJ Sober. Black Milk will perform music from his new album, No Poison No Paradise, which is due out October 15th via Fat Beats/Computer Ugly. “I’m looking forward to hitting the road again with a new album on the way and new music to perform,” says Black Milk, “Nat Turner and I have great chemistry together, and we push the show to new heights every year. This run will be the best yet.”

Black Milk previously released the first single, “Perfected On Puritan Ave,” introducing listeners to some of the themes from the upcoming album, which is structured conceptually as a series of dreams in the mind of a fictional character named Sonny Jr. The album art and tour flyer depict some of the imagery from Black Milk’s lyrical content, and were created by Dallas, Texas artist Joonbug.
