Media Questions Of The Week

1. Isn’t it wonderful that artists like Talib Kweli, Living Colour and The Roots will pay tribute to Prince at Carnegie Hall? But wouldn’t it be even nicer if Prince would allow some of these artists to help him make some relevant new music?

2. Is Gerald Levin, the creator of “Martin” really going to sue Trinidad James for stealing the character Jerome Rome for his stage act?

3. Does Quentin Tarantino have a legitimate reason for not casting Idris Elba in “Django Unchained” because he’s British when Elba has no problems playing other African-American roles? Despite critiques of a British Black man not being to do a convincing Southern accent, could Elba’s presence have been more threatening to the general movie going audience?
