Venna Keith is a Detroit native who sang on Michael Henderson’s Wide Receiver and Slingshot albums in 1980 and 1981. Henderson produced the 12″ of “Watching You” for her in 1983. The song was released on the New York Sutra imprint created by Art Kass and Charles Stettler who launched The Fat Boys’ career. She also sang on Ron Banks’ “This Love Is For Real.” It is rumored that Venna will release a collection of Adult Contemporary songs this year.
