Los Angeles – Just in time for Christmas, in what could only be deemed a ‘gift to the world,’ new artist Drewp from GaimChng3r Entertainment has released a debut tribute single, “The Final Curtain,” dedicated to the legacy of Michael Jackson. In the full spirit of the holiday season, proceeds from the digital release will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
“The Final Curtain” is a soul filled R&B ballad with Drewp rapping over old school beats about the greatest artist of all times, Michael Jackson. The song reminisces about Jackson’s greatest hits and his impact on the artist’s own youthful days. Presented by Havoc the Mouthpiece, from the legendary rap ensemble, South Central Cartel, the tune is destined to captivate the hearts of young and old alike as Havoc is also the son of Robert Lester and nephew of Marshall Thompson from the legendary Chi-Lites.
“Drewp is a true game changer,” offers Havoc. “With the holiday release of “The Final Curtain” we are introducing not only a great artist, but gifting the world with the best present ever, a song that tributes our beloved Michael Jackson. By merging hip hop and soul sensibilities, GaimChng3r Entertainment positions itself as a movement to bring hip-hop back to the lyrics, back to when artists actually rhymed outside the box and explored creativity. Our new artist Drewp is the ultimate lyricist destined to change the game and “The Final Curtain” is the ultimate tribute jam to prove it!”
