Audible Treats Announces CMJ ’09 Showcase Lineup


(September 30, 2009 – Brooklyn, NY) Premier lifestyle and entertainment marketing firm, Audible Treats, is pleased to announce their first Official CMJ 2009 Showcase. The showcase, which will take place at Southpaw in the Park Slope section of Brooklyn on Thursday, October 22nd, will feature a unique mix of legendary, established, and rising hip-hop acts, including headliners Souls Of Mischief, followed by Finale, Oddisee, Kam Moye, Trinity (comprised of AG, Sadat X, and DJ Jab), and Jern Eye. Other special guests will be announced in the coming weeks. MYX Music Label’s own Keelay of production duo Keelay & Zaire, will serve as the official DJ for the event.

Bryan-Michael Cox Inducted Into 2009 Georgia Music Hall of Fame:
Longtime SESAC affiliate Bryan-Michael Cox was been inducted into the 2009 Georgia Music Hall of Fame at ceremonies held at Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta on Saturday, September 19. Cox, a GRAMMY Award winning songwriter for his work on Mary J. Blige’s “The Breakthrough” CD, has also been responsible for writing hits for Usher, Mariah Carey and Omarion among many others.
