VIBE Video will deliver music videos on demand at VIBE.com. VIBE Video will start with more than 15,000 original music videos from providers such as Universal, Sony/BMG, and Warner Music. The service is fully searchable by artist or title, and it offers users the opportunity to rate, mark as a favorite, and comment on any video in the catalog. The most viewed, commented, and discussed videos will be made available on the site. VIBE’s content team will post weekly top picks to keep the avid music fans up to date on what’s hot.


Jody Miller And JLM PR Set To Retire After 25 Years

New York, N.Y. – March 24, 2009 – After an amazing 25 years, veteran music and entertainment industry publicist Jody Miller is announcing her plans to retire from public relations, effective August 2009.

As one of the early independent publicists and PR firms in the music industry, Miller and JLM PR have seen tremendous change in the business over the past quarter century. She and JLM are fortunate to have been involved in some seminal campaigns and events, some of them history in the making. Roger Waters’ The Wall celebrity concert, set on the Pottsdamer Platz between East and West Berlin just after the fall of the Berlin Wall, drew 350,000 people; Live AID ’85 with Duran Duran and its offshoot groups The Power Station and Arcadia; Russell Simmons, who Miller and JLM have represented for the past eight years, including all of his non-profits and some of his for-profits, launching and helping to build the Hip-Hop Summit Action Network and the Diamond Empowerment Fund; and such icons and organizations as Al Green, John Mellencamp, Iggy Pop, The Cure, Kanye West, the Songwriters Hall of Fame, LIFEbeat and the American Women in Radio & Television, among many others.


Russell Simmons’ Diamond Empowerment Fund Announces Two New Board Co-Presidents

Finale Hits The Road To Promote A Pipe Dream And A Promise


On April 7, Detroit emcee Finale will be releasing his debut album, A Pipe Dream And A Promise via Interdependent Media. Fresh off a string of successful shows at SXSW in Austin, TX, Finale will be hitting the road again to promote and support the new album, performing spot dates around the country throughout April and into May. Although not an official tour for A Pipe Dream And A Promise, fans will have a chance to see Finale perform tracks from the new album, which has already garnered strong reviews.
