NEW YORK, NY, February 24, 2009 – Kanye West had the audience on their feet as he taped an episode of “VH1 Storytellers” February 13 at The Sony Stages in Los Angeles. Fans can watch this exclusive performance when “VH1 Storytellers: Kanye West” premieres Saturday, February 28 at 9PM on VH1 and will premiere on Saturday, March 7 at 9PM* on Palladia, MTV Networks’ high definition music channel.
The 90-minute episode will feature West performing songs from his critically acclaimed album 808’s & Heartbreak in addition to past hits. Following in the “Storytellers” format, West will answer questions from the audience and give viewers a unique opportunity to hear the inspiration behind such hits as “Flashing Lights,” “Stronger,” “Good Life,” “Touch The Sky” and from his new album 808’s & Heartbreak, “See You In My Nightmares,” “Robocop,” “Amazing,” “Say You Will” and “Heartless.”
Users will be able to view the complete episode at Storytellers.VH1.com beginning February 28 with an online exclusive performance of “Love Lockdown.” Beginning today, fans can go online for a sneak peek performance of “Stronger,” several days before it will be seen on-air.
